This policy explains what Michael Boling Consulting, LLC ("we," "us") collects through this website, why, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to what we need to answer inquiries and do the work you ask us to do.

When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and, if you provide them, your phone number and the details of your project.
When you book a call, our scheduling provider collects your name, email address, time zone, and any notes you add so we can confirm and hold the meeting.
If you become a client and make a payment, our payment processor collects the billing details needed to complete the transaction. We do not see or store full card numbers.
We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand general traffic, such as which pages are viewed. We also run a bot-protection check on form submissions to prevent spam. These tools collect limited technical information like your approximate location, device, and IP address for security and aggregate measurement. We do not use this to build advertising profiles of you.
To respond to your inquiry, schedule and hold calls, prepare quotes, deliver and support paid work, send service-related messages, keep records for tax and legal purposes, and protect the site from abuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.
We use a small set of trusted providers to run the site. Each handles your information only to provide its service to us, under its own privacy terms:
We keep inquiry and booking information for as long as needed to follow up and, if we work together, for the life of the engagement plus any period required for tax and legal records. You can ask us to delete information we are not required to keep.
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email michael@michaelboling.dev and we will respond within a reasonable time. You can opt out of non-essential messages at any time.
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and signed, verified webhooks. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
This site is meant for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
We may update this policy as the site changes. When we do, we will revise the date shown above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
